Our Venezuelan coffee is truly a diamond in the rough, the potential that our country has is immeasurable in terms of coffee. Of the 24 states that we have, 20 are capable of producing high quality coffee, and in the Venezuelan Andes there is a coffee tradition and culture that will undoubtedly explode and give a lot to talk about in the world.
In Venezuela we are taking coffee very seriously, which is positive for coffee growing and for the industry in general. There are many efforts of all kinds, but especially in the field that have been carried out to increase coffee production and at the same time doing things well. That motivates and should motivate international agents to see what Venezuela has to offer in terms of coffee.
From our Andean Mérida region, we have ideal climates, altitudinal soils above 1200 meters above sea level on average and a coffee growing tradition of more than 100 years. The sum of the parts, and the roots of our people in coffee has us motivated, everyone is planting coffee and returning to their roots in our mountains. Carrying out good practices, connecting with other old ones and making our coffee something unique.
Are we missing something? Yes, we are missing many things but it is a matter of very soon before people from all over the world come to look for our coffee. And to make it known in cafes and roasteries as something truly exotic, well it is. Venezuela does not have volcanic soils and that gives cup profiles that are unique in the world, since our latitudes, mixed with these characteristics, allow flavors of bright sweetness and acidity.
From Momento Café we want to highlight what is made in our country, roasted at origin and allow us to show the world that technology, experience and tradition will be transmitted through a cup of our Momento Café, coffee from Mérida Venezuela, Roasted at Origin.
